ISOSG is bloated with too many ballads but there are some really good songs on it. The opener is one of my fav Saosin songs ever.

the last two songs on it are the apex of it for me so im okay with the ballads generally but that album just had too many hands on it so the songs all got a bit overcooked and overwritten. shoulda worked with hobo again

Ya know, I've never actually listened to ISOSG either. I've heard songs off it live but never bothered to check it out after seeing the hate it got.

I can see how it would have been super disappointing to fans around the time of release but in retrospect its not that bad at all. It was my first Saosin album so I have a soft spot for it.
