Totally true. This is a super creative album with a lot of hellfire behind it. A track like Cthulhu Dawn for instance. Or Lord Abortion. So much energy.

Plus I've always thought that what Dani does in these mid-career albums is super unique. He's got a very recognisable and very diverse style.

That I can agree with. Overall they’re just terrible though especially Darkly. Manticore is more boring than it is straight up terrible though I guess.

Yes, that I can agree with. It's not terrible, but definitely boring. I guess that in of itself kind of makes it terrible, but I can at least slog through it whereas Darkly makes me wish I was a victim in the "From the Cradle to Enslave" video.

If I had to rank band's disco, my top 3 CoF would be Hammer, Midian, and Cruelty (yes, no V Empire, although it's amazing) and my bottom 3 would be Venus, Thornography, and Damnation. Top albums sometimes do change, band has released a fuck ton of awesome stuff.
