on this record i miss the psychedelia vibe of gish they should have ran with that psych sound and evolved it into this album but instead they just left it behind.

Great review. This is my favorite album of The Smashing Pumpkins, I don't listen to them alot but the song "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" is just overheard, they have "Zero, 1979, Tonight Tonight, and Today". Those are all my favorites of this album.

I think Jellybelly and Tales Of A Scorched Earth are both really underrated, DEFINITELY two of their greatest heavier songs.

Thru The Eyes Of The Ruby might be my 2nd fav SP song now, it's so good especially the ending.
