Had to bump my rating. This album never fails to lift my spirits and has aged incredibly well. Total perfection.

i was pretty meh on the new album my first couple of spins but its starting to take its shape i think. think theres a really good 12-13 track album buried in it but its runtime is obnoxious lol
technicolor is the highlight prob

had to bounce after like track 4, it’s just terrible. You cannot rap JT.
He also now joins the exclusive society of artists trying using the word Sandals as a rap bar/rhyme

hmmm yeah, I think I gotta agree. The first song is a flat out bad intro and then I was kind of starting to think we might have something going with an uptick from the next few songs, but it's just so. damn. long. And Justin's vocals, while good, are just......so cringe. The production is mostly fine, if a bit homogenous, but his lyrics and enunciations just completely take me out at moments. It's almost as if you're in the car as a kid and you're singing along to a song and then your parents start singing. I think there's a salvageable 40 minute album in there somewhere, but that it's literally HALF the album.
Kinda impressive how he both plays it too safe and needed to reel it in.

My main issue with the initial listening was that everything sounded really same-y and the moments that stood out all made me groan lol
