i went from having this as a 5 several years ago when it released to a 2.5, then stopped listening to it for like 5 years and am now back to thinking it's a 5/5 again. when i played it recently i wondered how i ever flip-flopped so much in the first place. this is a mastercrafted pop album, with some of the best production i've ever heard. i've actually been digging a lot of the tracks i kind of glossed over in the past, like 'guy's eyes' and 'daily routine' and 'taste'. lion in a coma is still king though. and bluish. and brothersport

this is peak anco. i think after this they took a huge nosedive (not including fall be kind, which was a superb ep). strawberry jam and feels are definitely excellent records too tho

Dude, if this is just not your thing, fine. But saying this is bad, i really can't understand. This is psychedelic pop at it's finest, the vocal melodies, the catchiness of My Girls and Summertime Clothes, the sound textures, lyrical themes, and the watery/summery atmosphere is just really nice.
And yes, Fall Be Kind is awesome.
