she is such a frustating artist for me. i think she can write great pop songs (love flesh without blood) but there is so much obnoxious shit here. scream and kill v maim are both incredibly annoying

what the shit is the love for scream on this page, that track is an abomination
Flesh Without Blood is so catchy i can't knock it, but whenever i pay attention to those evenly weighted relentless quavers i get pissed. a couple of good hooks go a long way. makes me remember hearing My Name Is Dark for the first time and feeling like grimes had reinvented music when, after doing almost exactly the same thing for most of the song, the rhythm changed for all of two bars (by dropping out precisely two quavers from each). girl has no flair in her grooves.
