Same. My initial impressions are good, got Acid Hologram stuck in my head. I still don't know how I feel about the mix on Chino though. It almost sounds like he's in the background of some of the songs. Sort of makes the songs sound more dreamy

i gave it a 4 for now, but idk. like, there weren't a lot of 'holy shit' moments. i think acid hologram is really cool because of those weird psychedelic vocals, and i enjoy gore a lot - especially those screams towards the end. rubicon is a great closer and probably my favorite track on the whole album.
overall, there's no 'entombed' or 'what happened' or 'hole in the earth'. nothing that really grabs me in the same way, but some of the melodies on this album are indeed gorgeous.
phantom bride is going to become their most overrated song. i enjoy it too, but it's not as good as some people led me to believe. same with headdress, although i need more time with that one and a few others.
