@Mayhem: I think it didn't integrate their Drone sound with their usual Post Rock very well whilst Asunder did it far better.
@Talons: Skinny Fists is due to having so many climaxes heavily based on violins and the album is the album is essentially those climaxes copy pasted together for the most part. So it's pretty cresendo-core. Other albums aren't twinkly but they're kinda cresendo-core too minus Asunder.

When the dreaded flash of light catches my peripheral and I see the mushrooms explode upwards into the stratosphere, and there is panic in the streets, I will grab my physical copy of this album, sit in my favorite chair, and just wait for it all to end.

Impressive level of calm Sowing, very methodical. I'd grab the nearest bottle of hard liquor (preferably Whiskey but I wouldn't be fussed) & drink it by the mouthful. Preferably I wouldn't die at this point from alcohol poisoning (can't imagine that's pleasant) but at least it would prevent any further pain, I'd hopefully just knock myself out so I wouldn't be so aware of everything around me.
(can't believe I just put 'hard liquor'... it just sounded cooler than 'strong alcohol/spirits')
