i discovered Kendrick with Sec. 80 & when GKMC released it was so disappointing.GKMC is not a bad album by any means in my opinion just compared to Sec. 80 & TPAB it is not very abstract.what i always liked about him was i thought he had a very unconventional sound/style that had you putting a little more thought into his music.with this it was very up front & the beats are of the trends of current mainstream music.

Yeah i guess it's a matter of preference at that point, we all agree that all 3 albums are varying degrees of good. Can't really argue about which album is better.
I personally like this the most, because I feel it has the most coherent narrative.

I think tpab and good kid are about equal as far as the music goes. good kid has a lot of sentimental value to me so it might be a while till tpab matches good kid on that front

obv better than Section.80, on-par with TPAB for me. Totally different albums tho, rly not comparable. It's really clear why someone would prefer this to TPAB or TPAB over this.

I like Kendricks flow and what he says on it but it overstays it's welcome after like half way through. Very weak chorus too. Every minute of sing about me was great and it's twice as long.
