I mean the vocals aren't that impressive on their own but the way they compliment the frigid, breezy instrumentation is ~

I like taking walks around the lake by my house during winter while listening to this. I dont want to be cozy while jamming this.

again it's not my environment, it's not that i just don't "feel" this album, it's that i think the vocals are fucking awful and they make me cringe, i don't think if it snowed in LA that i would suddenly be like, "oh agalloch vocals are good!"

Listened to this on my drive to work this morning. The 1 degree F "feels like" temperature complimented this album well. Vocals on this are pretty good. They blend well with the music and atmosphere. Far from cringe worthy or awful IMO.

It's snowing all the time today and this is my soundtrack to it, freaking awesome! Also, since we just recently had the debate: the self-backing vocals on here are incredible! How can anyone miss that?

Mike Patton's career getting a hard 4.0 sounds about right, not going to pretend I love everything he's done
