I mean bro… cmon lol
Greg is absolutely insane and saying that someone is technically “worse” than him doesn’t mean much. Most metal vocalists are worse than him lol
Homeboy also is just crazy diverse. His solo albums feature half of every style of music under the sun and then there’s this, Black Queen, and Killer Be Killed for all the octanecore bros.
What’s Keith done lately? aside from shit out an album with mid to bad lyrics, maybe 2 good riffs, and like one and a half vocal melodies worth a shit across the entire fuckin thing

Flashback to 2020, if you had told 20 year old wildcard that Keith would be in a band that would be playing shows at literally my favorite venue in my city, and I would rather get high and do whatever bullshit I normally do, I would wonder what the actual fuck happened?
And I’m still kinda wondering… dude’s eggs are scrambled

Greg screams are not in the same league for me, and his singing voice is too nasally a lot of the time. I like what he’s done with the black queen, but for heavy music, not so much.

“ I'm starting to get the impression
that I'm the only one alive
And everything's a projection
that goes away when I close my eyes
Considering all the destruction
and all the drugs that I have tried
I just find it a little strange that I haven't died”
Keith really was a wordsmith back in the day man. We Go Together is certainly the most “out there” song they ever attempted, and it’s so incredible… and very underrated imo

We Go Together shouldn't close the album, though.
People Verses is a perfect closer.

Insane that no one has stepped up to fill the void these guys and TDEP left. Thank god we still have Converge, otherwise mxc would be all but dead and buried

People Verses is a perfect closer.
We Go Together is also a perfect closer (and is also perfect to close out the band)

2028 is the year of the ETID reunion.
My source, I made it the fuck up and am coping.

Holy fuck this is great! First listen, hit me right off the bat. I can only imagine how it’ll grow. Current 4.5, very possible 5.
This tops even Low Teens for me I think. I’ll be honest here…I need to give Ex Lives some more listens to grow and I still have From Parts Unknown to go…but I think the only ETID albums I really LOVE are this and low teens. Goddamn I’m really lamenting their break-up now.
I think their other albums are very good, to varying degrees. But it’s almost like I like listening to individual songs in a playlist mixed with other shit more than their albums front to back. LT and Radical feel like cohesive, complete albums. The other ones have ragers, but lack a little diversity and can be a little one-note.very well done nonetheless; but man these last two albums are fucking incredible. Definitely feels like the band finally reaching their fullest potential.
But alas…

If Head can go back to Korn after his brief religious/holy sabatical, I hope Keith can do the same here.
And from Hot Damn on, these guys have one of the more solid discogs of all time.
