The potential for letdown is there but he's playing the best football of his career so I'm hopeful

the lions run game is as dominant as we've seen in a long time, and what's wild is the catalyst isn't a lamar/cmc type superstar... but the best oline in the league along with a play caller who knows how to maximize them + a plethora of different body types at running back. not to mention goff is playing near flawless football, and he's able to do so largely because being able to run the ball like that makes life sooooo easy. but i also think he's truly reached another level these past two seasons, dude's confidence is at an all time high and it really shows.

i get the optimism it's just really hard to imagine goff winning a clutch playoff game on the road. yes he has it easy and yes he is playing well. but i will always have that large doubt in the back of my mind. don't blame you, happy for lions fans! i would like one ben johnson.

i came into the season with similar doubts, but idk the offense just seems too stacked to fail at this point. reminds me of a supercharged version of the 2018 rams offense where they were awesome and made the super bowl even when goff was ass in december/january.

goff was also mostly awesome in last year's playoffs tbf. idky i decided now was the time to give him his credit for that but late is better than never
