Love MCR so Kill the Music was one of the first songs from the band that I got into. But Scogin is easily their best feature. Its just so fucking awesome every time I hear it.

A mate of mine ONLY bought Gutter Phenomenon because of the sticker on the front with Gerard and Daryl's names on it.

This is back when we would go to the store once a week with a 4 cd minimum rule. If there weren't 4 new releases we wanted, we'd take risks.

Silverstein, ETID, From Autumn To Ashes.

Found some absolute game changers on those random risks.

Yeah, part of what makes this a perfect swansong to me is that it's their heaviest and most socially conscious and whatnot but Keith still whips out some of his best.

I’m obviously seriously bummed these guys flamed out like they did but I really don’t even see how they could possibly follow this up.

To me, Better Lovers feels different enough to distinguish itself but my god, Many Eyes is literally just bargain bin later era ETID in just about every way. Worse lyrics, generic riffs and instrumentals in general, and flat production. I was never the biggest fan of Will’s style but god at least the guitars pack a fucking punch here. Many Eyes sounds like a wet fart compared to Radical.

Better Lovers is just not very interesting to me. Also, when I took a long absence from this site a while back I still lurked once in a while to find new stuff. Someone said Greg is a better vocalist than Keith and I almost threw up on my keyboard. Absolute insanity (not saying he's the reason I dislike them). Maybe with a new member in the band they might put out something more to my liking.

In terms of raw vocal talent… yeah, I’d say Greg is easily the better vocalist. Doesn’t mean he’s a better fit for these guys than Keith, and Keith is a MUCH better lyricist.
