Fuck, it might not be a 4, but it’s a hell of a lot closer to a 4 than a damn 2.5.

I'm hoping for something closer to Koi No Yokan, that had the perfect balance of shoegazeiness and brutality, like SNW and Diamond Eyes had a child. Gore would have been near perfect if the production wasn't so weird

I actually like the production a lot here. It's weird, sure, but the sparse and open nature of the mix fits the atmosphere (as well as the artwork) for me personally

This feels like it came out half a decade ago at this point. I need new 'Tones.

I want deftones to make some baroque pop, that would be AMAZING.

Production is ok at best but it was just disappointing consider how vast and perfect KNY’s production was.

Jokes aside. For me this is just better in terms of atmosphere, the last leg of song from this (plus some songs on the first half) pack this cool vibe that the S/T just can't reach.

S/T sure hits harder (Bloody Cape is fucking br00tal) but is not as interesting as this. In my honest opinion.

S/T is my #1 Deftones over White Pony so yeah, I have a huge boner for that album. It has an intangible atmosphere that they were never able to reproduce again.

Chino pushed his vox as far as he could on that album
