Bleed the Freak is the only thing I actually remember from Facelift, but it is indeed great.

Hard to pick faves.... Maybe Hate to Feel, Angry Chair. The beginning of Rain When I Die still gives me chills every time.

The only songs I can't vouch for being fun to play on guitar are Sickman, Junkhead, Dirt and Hate To Feel, cos I've never tried to play those ones. Them Bones was part of my band's live set for a while too.

"Them Bones" is fun to play on drums. Not because it's complex or anything but the 7/8 time signature.

Yeah, it's a super straightforward riff too, but it's just so addictive because of that 7/8 groove. Plus the solo is one of Jerry's best. Not overly hard, but I've seen a ton of people butcher it because they underestimate it's trickiness in that groove.

I had fun learning the Would? on the drums too. I think that was probably the hardest song I learned to play on drums.

The fills and tom heavy beat are nice. Another fun jam.

Kinney is a tasteful dude. Learning No Excuses was also on my agenda but I never got around to it.

I Know Something About You is one of the rare songs to have an amazing chorus but have everything else be shit.

Seriously, those harmonies between Layne and Jerry through the hook are kick ass

"Them Bones" still hasn't quite clicked with me and I've known that song for ages. Maybe it's because it's the only song people in my area know from them (making it near impossible to talk about their other work) that ruined it for me but damn.
