it's corny af and does not mix with the rest of the album at all. it's incredibly out of place.

This is going to sound really petty, but my least favorite thing about MoR is that goddamn clacking percussion sound during parts of Children of the Grave. It's so annoying, especially when the rest of the drumming is already enough to carry the song... quite a shame, because otherwise I love that track

What is it supposed to be anyway? For the longest time I thought it was the toms, but I don't even know what it is now.

otherwise that concert was epic, araya can still pull off that scream at the beginning of angel of death really well
also weird to see tool in daylight without maynard in a silhouette

Axl and billy corgan were the weak links imo. Not massive on yungblud either, but he did a fantastic job

you’re saying there’s at least 15 more albums in the post 2000s than the pre 2000s?
i might have to disagree

was pretty surprised to see metallica and gnr cover a bunch of late period songs. metallica really killed "johnny blade". was sorta surprised gnr were even on the bill but tbh you can really hear the technical ecstacy/never say die influence in their music. never made that connection.
also uhhh yeah axl was just as terrible as advertised jfc.
tool doing hand of doom just makes too much sense i'm sure that one was awesome
