Streaming already killed the CD imo...
It's sorta sad but not a big loss, really.

Yeah, I agree you're not exactly making a fashion statement lol.
I usually have a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath the band T that matches or compliments the primary color(s) of the album art, makes it look a bit more presentable.
And if the CD is "dead" wouldn't that kinda make them more of a collector's item?

CDs are fucking dumb and stupid
collect cassettes
stolen cassettes
and rob clothing stores

"it personally pains me to see people wearing band merch"
I used to think so too
until I bought hella Neurosis merch articles over the years and wear that shit like a brand
not the most metal thing unless you look hella fit and know how to accessorize, then you can pull it off

dont see whats wrong with a damn band t shirt lmao are yall retarded

I gotta admit I have basically zero band shirts even though I buy physical media like crazy
In terms of clothing I used to collect tracksuits like crazy though; Adidas, Lacoste, Fila, Ellesse...
Also, way too expensive brand clothing I only wear twice a year

Makes you look like a teenager. If you are, go for it but otherwise it can come off a little silly (like putting skull decals all over your Mustang GT which is totally a thing that I didn't not do), which would kinda defeat the purpose of you trying to rep the band. Just my personal experience/observation, I imagine it depends a lot on your environment, where you work, what kind of people you're around, etc.

As said before, even if I don't like it; I respect people repping their favorite artists. You do you man...
There's a time and space for everything, even if you don't look good while rocking your band merch shirt. No everyone has to think the same or share opinions 100% of the time haha.

So anyways, yeah... In a few years CD's will be collector items like Vinyls currently are (though they won't look as good or sell as well as vinyl currently does, I guess).
Let's stray from that topic...

Nah, even though some people don't care about appearances, plenty of other people do. Gotta work from within the system if you want to be taken seriously.

only makes you look like a teenager if you're built like one son
plenty of girls that like punk and metal and could spot you for a convo if you're not wearing shit like that a some subconscious shielding

in sweden they made that shit fashion. plenty of techno artists like Varg2 that wear Mayhem t-shirts layered with their designer pants and custom jackets.
