One thing is that for sure Chino's harsh vocals have gone downhill a bit. Not critically so but they're not anywhere near as powerful as on AtF (unsurprising after 23 years lol)

I feel like I'm missing out. I thought this was 4.5 material first listen but has a gone down a little bit for me after repeated listens. Maybe a 4.2 for me atm, digging Error and Headless a lot.

This is definitely a bottom heavy record. The whole thing is almost flawless, but the second half is something to behold. Though, Ceremony has been growing on me more and more with each listen.



I have been a Deftones fan now for 2 decades and I never thought I'd say this, but this has cracked my top 3. It may actually be my second favorite Deftones release now after the Self Titled. It truly feels to me like the spiritual successor of that album. I'm so happy, I can't even right now guys.
