Yeah Tuna.

Trainspotting is actually easily a better book than film (it's definitely funnier) and that's still a top 10 film for me...so what I'm saying is Welsh is one of the greats. Filth film and book are about even.

Interesting thing is that 'Glue' is imo his best book, even more enjoyable than Trainspotting.

i'm so lost when it comes to lynch's filmography considering the only thing i've seen that he's done is twin peaks which rules obviously

Kris Lynch's other stuff is quite different to Twin Peaks though it usually keeps the darkness, surreal quality and emphasis on dreams/other states of reality:

In order of most essential:

1. Eraserhead 5/5

2. Mulholland Drive 5/5

3. Lost Highway 4.5/5

4. Blue Velvet 4.5/5

5. Inland Empire 4.5/5

6. Elephant Man 4.5/5

7. Straight Story 4/5

8. Wild at Heart 4/5

9. Dune 3.5/5

'No Country For Old Men >>> There Will Be Blood'

Damn, that's a tough choice. I love them both as well. Weren't they both filmed near each other? Thought I read that sometimes the members on the No Country For Old Men shoot could see smoke from There Will Be Blood.
