Just saw Death To All the last 2 nights here in NYC. They covered The Sound of Perseverance in full tonight as well as a bunch of other classics from Symbolic, ITP, and Human.
Gene, Bobby, and Steve were all fantastic as you'd expect. And I gotta give a special mention to Max Phelps who covered Chuck's guitar parts and vocals, it was a really faithful recreation of Chuck's sound.
I honestly got a little teary eyed during the outro of A Moment of Clarity. That honestly might have been my favorite live concert experience ever.

Dude I just found out about that Death DTA tribute band! Freaking awesome to have something like that around man. Props to that Max guy for having the balls to take the role of Chuck, that ain't easy at all.
PS: This album rules so hard I sometimes think about 5ing it...

Max Phelps was born 30 years too late, but thank god we have him
Wish they'd do another Cynic album with him taking on a bigger role in that one, at least vocally if not songwriting wise
also the guys trashing this album are obvious posers, this is one for the ages
