Kirk has a lot of great stuff on Load and Reload too... some of the most tasteful playing he ever put on record is on those albums imo.

This album is mediocre, agreed. Metallica's decline started around 1980. Kirk can't solo like Solo can't Han and Lars can't drum. They should disband before Kill 'em All. Lame.
