I've spent the past 5-7 years with junkies and the homeless and politics never comes up but maybe that was just my circle. The news around here pretty much just consists of recent murders and politics that I honestly don't care much about. I noticed at a young age political discussions that happened around me just consist of people arguing and waiting for their turn to talk while not listening to the other person and much like debating religion and whatnot it seems like a bit of a waste of breath to me. Yet I typed that, which is a bit hypocrital butt fuck it

Drugs throw you to rock bottom and kind of force you to get pretty introspective tbh I'd imagine that's the same everywhere although it doesn't effect all that way. I saw a homeless guy who had gotten me setup to get robbed after a Today is the Day show like 6 months later outside of a Tommy Wright III show and he told me some extremely profound shit that really changed the way I thought about things. In my drug induced stupor at the time I thought he was an angel or something. He may have gotten a gun crammed in my face that night but I still have him a ride back from where I picked him up and I told I know how it is. That said I don't think help for those people is going to come from the government. It's been pretty clear throughout my life that they don't care much about the people at the bottom. Maybe I'm wrong idk. I just give when I can and ignore the other bullshit
