great album. This was one of the records that kind of got me back into metal, so there will always be a special place in my heart for this.
Capillarian Crest is easily one of the best metal songs I have ever heard. and I also love Pendulous Skin. Sounds amazing. It also fits in with the Joseph Merrick/Elephant Man idea of including an instrumental based on that idea at the end of their albums, but when I listen to this, it feels like it's also tying up the story of Blood Mountain a bit. That's what I took from it, at least.
The only negative about this cd is Bladecatcher. Unlistenable, I've listened to the whole thing maybe 3 times. Circle of Cysquatch has gotten old after repeated listens, but that's it. Otherwise it's great.
