I think it's possible for even very chaotic music to have very well thought out and smooth transitions that solidify the song rather than just bolting parts together. You can have a guitar voice lead into the new key or have the new rhythms referenced in the drum fill that leads into the part etc etc. After like 30+ years of mathcore being a thing, the bolt on song stuff can be a little old. Jarring transitions can be really effective when used thoughtfully but it starts to feel nonsensical at a point if that's all that's being done. Like "lulzsorandomXDrawr" type shit.

"Body Horror For Birds" too sexy!

Yeah honestly Celebrity Therapist didn't work for me until literally yesterday lmfao
I just thought it was Dillinger worship but also like those mathcore bands from the 2000's that just thought unorganized nonsense was art
But now I realize I was being a big ol' dumb dumb. It all works for me now.
Not sure why, but this album really made the entire fuckin band click for me, but I get where you guys are coming from. It's a lot.

Schizophrenia Legacy is the weakest track imo. i think if anything, it introduces how great the production is here but that's really it. the heavy is good but it doesn't stand out and the chorus is doing nothing for me after a few listens.
sucks cuz what a title. Full Moon Guidance saves everything doe so we're good

Mona Lisa is still the weakest track for me. I didn’t like it really at all prior to the album release and now I do like it but it’s probably the only track on here that I do not “love”. Honestly Schizophrenic Legacy was a great way to kick off this album. It really drew me in and I was like “damn, maybe this will be a great album after all” soon as it finished. I wasn’t too crazy about the singles for some reason. But I do not recommend just listening to the singles now that this is out. They are much better in the full album, even the one I wasn’t crazy about. Strangely always loved Lemon and nobody liked that one. Lol

on first listen DIS seemed aggressively and offensively melodically bland. not bad per se, just bland. like wheres da hooks boiz. wherz da siq riffs nd shit blud. all riffs are like unseasoned potatoes drowning in burnt corn starch. all vocals are like unbuttered carrots and onions shrivelling in the sun. felt the same with their last record, cant stand this kind of contrived plataeu of bleughcore + zany sidequest songwriting, least of all since it's runtime outlasts its welKUM

Glad to see I’m not the only one that’s had this on repeat. Think I’m up to 12 or 13 full album listens at this point
