No clue how I'd rank them, but my top 10 would likely consist of Grand Paradise, Lich Prince, Gameshark, Lambert, Nearer My God, Secret History, Hell 99, Greyhound, Gratitude, and Looks Like Nothing. I'm not even sure that anything from their first two albums or DDtM matches up to their NMG/Foxing eras for me. With that said, I'm doing a full discog rerun, and am liking Dealer a whole lot more than I used to. There's a chance something from that album could crack my top 10 with more time.

After a week and half of listening to this beauty, I’m upping my rating. 4.5/5
This is now my AOTY (replacing Vampire Weekend) so far, I can’t see Touche Amore or Linkin Park etc releasing an absolute banger to beat it, but you never know lol

This unseated Vampire Weekend for me as well. For a while it was between that or Wall of Eyes, but I think this pretty safely runs away with 2024 for me personally, barring something decade-defining dropping in Q4.

I was not at all impressed by Vampire Weekend or Wall of Eyes. May have to revisit if you are really so high on those
@bubs will have to revisit alkaline trio as well

fwiw this would have comfortably unseated Vampire Weekend and Wall of Eyes for me too if they were the best 2024 albums I had heard
simply keep calm and use those precious minutes checking the new Nala Sinephro instead

About halfway through and this does sound incredible so far. Very fresh and futuristic sounding.
Blows away anything I've ever heard from them.

this is too indie for me tbh, I was hoping for more tracks like Hell 99 but have been let down. Not bad by any means tho, I’ll give it a few more listens before I write it off.

Yeah, I think this is actually more impressive than Daisy. It's a little more experimental/daring. Both albums are amazing, though.
