Encore and Relapse, as shitty as they are, still have some legit bangers and feel like authentic. This has literally the same jokes from those records and feels inauthentic af. Still a whole lot better than Revival by pretty much every metric, but this is definitely his second worst imo.



But honestly, I’d listen to Revival over this, even if it’s just because listened to it twice like 7 years ago and would be curious to find out if it got even worse for me

I think the best tracks from Encore & Relapse blow away anything from this. Even some of the bad tracks are almost absurdly entertaining at times. Most of the bad stuff here is straight up boring, and even some of the better songs feel like shallow retreads.



I don't think the production is up to snuff either like "Guilty Conscience" is such a classic track by the instrumental alone, and the sequel here sounds so generic in-comparison

shocked i ended up liking this more than like 90% of you guys



this has his best production since at least relapse... and for the most part isn't littered with awful pop hooks or any of his attempts at singing. also raps like a human being here for once



if not for the final third completely faltering this'd be a pretty decent return to form imo. even then it still sorta is. not something i'll ever listen to past this week but i think this is prob his best album besides the first three
