Statements are both about 500 words of "ah, um, acutally, um, yknow factually it was right but you weren't there and didn't get the vibes, ah um,, ah yknow maybe forgive connie a bit". Come on at least get the act together and string together a coherent narrative instead of just oscillating about it for 10 paragraphs.
fair point that maybe the public heat on this person that they didn't want or need is not helpful regardless of the fact that they were wronged by a minor music celebrity, but the shit that was in the initial allegations was fucking horrendous. Transphobia is insane because what does this have to do with being trans, the cis men in genres like this one are constantly being fucking me too'd.
Initially wasn't surprised at the headlines alone bcz its hardly a surprise as a trans girl that the worlds messiest substance abusing sasscore trans girl had a toxic codependant relationship in her past. But upon actually digging into the initial allegations they were so much more beyond the pale then I expected and I can't believe the victim decided that maybe we just need to let it go, given the whole point of the initial post seems to be to try and warn people in their social space? How can you say on one hand people need to be warned about her and supported due to past interactions and also she deserves to be let back in the scene or whatever? Really makes me worried there was coercion involved....
