Blackened Sky is a great album idc, not sure if they returned to that style after I dipped but I didn't like Only Revolutions too much.

yeah they changed their style and included more ballads on their records. this peaked with ellipsis which was like half ballads and half juiceless stadium rockers but even that album had two absolute bangers as bonus tracks. they bounced back from that low-point and their last album is just fantastic rock music, every single song on that album is a banger.

I pretty much just loved the emo/grunge influence they wore on the first 2-3 albums and once Only Revolutions stripped all that away I was like "alright then, this isn't bad but isn't gripping me." But I do like me some ballads so maybe.

I really can't stand Ellipsis anymore but it's defo not helped by the fact my group of gig going mates and myself played it to death when it came out.



@Veni please check out 'Errors in the history of god' 'Unknown Male 01' 'Slurpy Slurpy Sleep Sleep' 'Cop Syrup' 'End Of' 'North of No South' and 'In The Name of the wee man' from their last 3 records, all great rocking bangers. Then if you want some ballads 'Space' and 'Rearrange'



I highly recommend their most recent album btw @veni it's deffo the weirdest shit they've put out in ages.

cannot think of a band i have less strong feelings for either way tbh. ig net positive given the Inf Land opener kinda bangs and Mike Vennart hitched a probably v profitable gig with them. but maybe net negative given the unspeakable awfulness of the Many of Horror xfactor final
