@MyMentality I'm always so jealous of the shows I see from when they play in the UK. I remember seeing one of them playing The Jester and the place exploded.

Oh 100% the jester always went off haha. I'd love to catch them at a more intimate show though at some point. I've always caught them with crowds of 1000+ people, would love to see them in dingy bar playing to sub 200 lol

6 months later and I finally saw them! A bit underwhelmed, they sound tired from the tour. Playlist was disapointing to say the least, I'm glad they played The Last Garrison but no Zzzonked, no goldfish/octopus, no Set me on Fire, only Not A Winner from the first album, no marionettes, no the Sights...

Rou swallowed a fly so I guess it was worth it lol

Damn, that's a bummer gravity. The best show I ever saw from them was in 2016 where they played pretty much every single thing you could want off their first 4 albums and they sort of played the songs as medleys with some ridiculous transitions. It was super energetic and frantic. I saw them on the The Spark tour and it was really dialed back with Rou being in his moody Rod Stewart era. I feel like the videos I've seen of them playing live since then have been more in that vein compared to what they used to do.

2010-2016 was the peak era for Shikari, they're still great live but I dunno that period was just on another level.
