I listened to Slayer since I was 6 years old. Although partially involuntary they never really stuck to me. I'm sorry.

My uncle got me into metal with Black Sabbath, Metallica, Venom, Bathory, Sepultura, Slayer, Mercyful Fate, and Napalm Death. A handful of them I do not care for but Black Sabbath, Metallica, Bathory, and Mercyful Fate caught hold of me. Since then I only listen to Bathory out of that group. I gave thanks to my uncle by introducing him to Morbid Angel.

Lucky you. I never had anyone to get me into metal. Ive pulled myself into metal on my own accord,being the only asshole who didnt conform. This site and magazines like Metal Hammer are my only resources.
