Being able to swap between versions of the game in cutscene for halo 2 is insane. The difference ten years makes is astounding.

My problem with the Halo anniversary games is that the colours are so washed out. Dunkey said it best when he said there's so much visual clarity in the original game, and when you swap over to the remastered version, it looks kind of shitty. Still think the first two games are a great time. The third one's campaign I feel is really lackluster but the multiplayer is undoubtedly the best

It's not so much that the colors are washed out, it's that it's so overdesigned. There are some assets that read a bit better visually but i prefered the retro look for a decent chunk of the game. You can tell they washed away like 99% of the darkness too because every new part gives off some type of light. If we wanna bring up game reviewers I vaguely remember yahtzee mentioning how everything felt like Sci fi legos held together with neon glue in his halo 4 review and its super fitting for CE anniversary and I think the design carried over to 4 since they were a year apart iirc. 2 isn't as bad so far but I'm not that far into it. The cutscenes look better than the TV show funnily enough.

Halo 3's campaign is great tho

I do genuinely like this album a lot but after a few listens I'm still not understanding why this band is worshipped so heavily. Maybe it's because I'm not listening to the lyrics since I can't understand them without reading them as I listen and I don't have time for all that right now. I feel like all of their output is a solid 3-4 depending on the album/song, though I can see myself giving this a higher rating if it really clicks with more listens.
