First 2 albums are great but interpol is better. I feel sorry for the people of my country who make the killers look like U2 while nobody cares about interpol.

Honestly, the closer hits pretty damn hard. The way it repeats in such a distant, morose way really fits the lyrics and the song as a whole. It's just like doing patchwork on a wound, temporarily sealing it and pretending that it's just all good.
Or I'm reading too far into things and I just feel too much lol

Yeah it's crazy. I used to think Sam's Town was about as good as this, but that's actually a pretty noticeable dip in quality. Then their most recent is just awful

their newest is a ton better than battle born and about half of it is pretty great
they weren't very innovative though tbh, it was the strokes meets interpol and later they added a dash of new wave

Is this actually good or did it get carried to a 3.6 by Mr. Brightside?

Don't disregard the brilliance of this entire album by that whiteboi anthem
