I know many think that but I disagree. I think the production has a lot to do with it. Wasn’t a fan. Album is still good though.

That's kind of how I feel about The Frail Tide. It's still good but I feel like Stone's Reach is where the riff writing really took off to the next level.

A trve fan never skips the immense rippage that is Frail Tide if only for the almost apex Be'lakor song "Neither Shape Nor Shadow"

A lot of their best acoustic bits and overall riff game imo are from Frail Tide even if their songwriting and cohesion absolutely took a better turn over time.

and I can't even relate to them on a personal level, I'm just so moved by the poetry
