As a newcomer I wasn't aware. I knew when I first heard this it sounded like typical 2000s thrash/power metalcore in a nearly true to the original, pure form so I was perplexed. It's almost like a That 70s Show recreation type thing. I avoided Trivium for a while because every time I heard them I just didn't like them but this album is truly legit.
