it's more that there are just better opeth albums. i mean there are some good riffs and the songwriting is usually solid but fuck why would i listen to good opeth riffs when i can listen to amazing opeth riffs.
it's just boring as fuck. i get halfway through it and put another opeth album on.
ghost of perdition is great though.
