He’s their best vocalist

A bit too one-dimensional 'cookie monster' for me, and the growl ain't nothing to write nothing about. He's not bad but I am not going crazy over it either, the instrumentation on the other hand is good stuff. This and Chapters are definitely the ones I like the most that I've heard from them.

AJ was probably my favorite on vocals, absolutely barbaric.

Noted. I've heard Chapters but I wasn't ready. I'll revisit that first, probably. Then check Psalms as it seems well liked.

It takes a while adjusting to the intensity of this. Once you do it sounds a lot less homogenous. Structurally this is pretty varied and the rhythm section is impressive. I'm not blown away by the vox either, yet they serve their purpose well enough.

Suitable band name, feels like I'm going insane listening to this. Better than calling yourself 'Disfigured Anus Obliteration' or some shit.
