Damn really? Got a love for Fury, and his comeback and his return to form is unlike anything I've ever seen in boxing.

Sorry, forgot I have to comment on 4328673578638467 other threads before I comment here, please don't hang me!
And as someone above has said, it's a nod to Tyson Fury, plus my own Irish traveller/gypsy heritage too.
Still, like I said it's a good album when you take into account their age and where they've come from. Of course their sound will evolve. Of course some people will just hate them for the "scene" they came out of, or because they want to be "different", or because they genuinely dislike the music. Still a good album to me. Still like all of their other albums (mostly), and there are still a few songs of theirs I'm not completely sold on or downright dislike. I wouldn't say I'm a diehard Slipknot fan, I don't like all of their songs and to me AHIG was a very mediocre album. WANYK just has a lot going for it, has parts of all of their previous albums melded into one, and was done in a good way where the songs don't song completely out of place or sync with each other. Can't please everyone though, clearly.

Is Gypsy a slur? There's large Gypsy communities in various parts of the UK and everyone refers to them as Gypsies. Them, the rest of the population, the authorities.

Also, to answer the above, I think they prefer to be refered as the ‘travelling community’ nowadays.

"Gypsy" was originally regarded as an ethnic slur for the Romani traveller people.
There are however plenty of non-Romani traveller groups in Europe - like for instance the Irish Travellers or the Dutch "Woonwagenbewoners/Voyageurs" (who are of indigenous Dutch, Flemish and sometimes German descent - I have some "Voyageur" family myself) and they often describe themselves as "Gypsies" because of the originally nomadic connotation of the word.
In short, some Romani do seem to mind the word "Gypsy" while most indigenous European Traveller groups mostly do not.

depends on how you say it. add some vitriol to your tone as you say gypsy and it comes off quite slur-y. 'Gypo' however is pretty much accepted (in England at least) as a slur for Gypsies

Jip jop. Cacker. Pikey. I'm friends with a lot of them. They're loyal but dangerous from my experience. But they're intelligent in most regards.

Lol I studied criminal psychology at a level. I feel justified in my knowledge. I am most certainly not a racist. Profiler...yes. Just not in the sense you've made me interpret from your comment.

Are you English Mort? Never knew.
And yes ‘pikey’ is definitely recognised as a racial slur.
Why are we talking about this btw, seems odd.

Nice to see some fellow Brits around here, think I just assume most are American unless I know otherwise (I’m aware of a few + Europeans).
