Chromology is probably my favorite off of here, crazy track and also great album. rating would've been higher had they trimmed the runtime and left out the weaker sections, though

EP was...good! it still sometimes feels like these guys are just slapping parts together (which once again if i hadnt made it clear on TYS threads, was just not an issue on Maps but has been on everything else) but still...good!

Just listened to the EP, I can kinda get what you mean with slapping parts together. It doesn't feel as cohesive as it should, but always makes for some good surprises! EP is good though. The guitar tones are just wonderful! Wish these guys would just go all out and make a prog rock opera concept album though now. I will definitely 5 that haha!

I spent a totally unhealthy ammount of time with this album, at this point I'd estimate around 300h, if not more. Is this obsession already? And I'm still finding new little things within songs!
At this point I wouldn't even be mad if for their next LP they just make Terraformer 2.
Didn't like the ep that much though, it's fun but nothing beyond it, lacks most things that make this album so special. Chromology or Anchor are an adventure, while most songs on ep sound like "what if we went trash metal hehe" joke
