his cleans are sort of radio-y. like I can tell it's pretty cleaned up. Also the lyrics seem detached from the theme on the last couple records, so it sort of ruins my experience. but maybe im just not looking at it metaphorically or paying enough attention.
On this in Pelagic (sp?) the vocals feel like they are in the way in spots, but instrumentally there are some spots that need vocals. Neither way is perfect. Petition to get Scott Kelly to help them out.
