Show was indeed excellent. In fact, I daresay the stuff here generally is better live, especially the more "out there" stuff. Some of that stuff sounds a bit too rigid or worked over on record, if that makes any sense. Much as these are truly composed pieces (they literally had sheet music on stage) there was a certain sense of life and spontaneity they had live that they somewhat lack here. Plus Julia's extremely humble and subtly awkward personality is adorable. Definitely glad I went.
