well your 5's probably weren't marred with a ton of placeholder compositions that served to only extend the time of the piece. A lot of long albums suffer from an excess of filler.

I'm a lot further into this album than I thought I'd be making it though. On track 17, so far this is somewhere in the 3-3.5 range for me. Best thing I've heard from Weezy but there's definitely some fat that could have been trimmed. Namely the awful "Open Safe."

Should we offer Agent up as a blood sacrifice to make one of our favorite old bands making good music again? Like In Flames?

Alright...one song left. Pleasantly surprised by this, honestly. Not the biggest fan of Weezy's voice and some tracks here don't hit as hard as they could have, but it's not bad overall. Roughly half the tracks are 4/5 and the other half is about 2.5-3/5, so... there.

i think i was okay with "How to Love" off Carter IV too, but that's the extent of my enjoyment of this man's work over the years.
There’s a 100% chance you haven’t listened to any of his 90’s-early 00’s stuff and/or any of the mixtapes so idk if you can comment on his stuff “over the years” tbh.

for real. Literally a chunk of an entire days worth of music that would need to be heard before having any right to speak like you have.

Yeah I mean not to mention all of the fire features he had on early Cash Money releases that aren’t on his own releases. Like Agent is just completely out of his league on this one lol.

you have the dedication series, da drought series, tha carter series, sorry for the wait 1 and 2, ianahm 1 and 2, no ceilings 1 and 2, his time with Hot Boyz, his early solo material, his collab albums he's made with people like B.G., T-Pain, 2-Chainz, Juelz Santana, and Birdman. the hundreds of singles if not thousands of singles that he's been featured on, and all of the material that hasn't even come out officially. Dude you have disrespected one of the hardest working people in music history and made yourself look like a straight up fool and you only have yourself to take responsibility over it

I'm probably already going to get fucking roasted for having Carter V in my weekly collage anyway so I don't think I'm going to bother anytime soon.

|

I mean, I've dedicated like 20 seconds to Wayne and I have an opinion, so, you can have one. Just don't expect people who like him to take you seriously.

Yes because you’ve heard such a small percentage that you can’t comment on it. Just cause you’ve heard singles and Tha Carter 2 means nothing lol.

i'm talking about how you didn't listen to a single album before shitting on the artist and it was someone who has done a months worth of music.
