Yeah, the instrumentation here is some of their tightest. This one just doesn't hit me in the same way. "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" is as close as it gets, but I'd put "One" and "Fade to Black" on over that song any day of the week.

Lars will always be the worst thing about Metallica. The fucking guy turned his snare drum into a crock pot because he said it sounded beautiful and it sang to him. There's no coming back from that, especially when he could never even properly play the drums in the first place.
