I don't know, man. If we get back to that 'objective measurement' thing I had mentioned before, your tantrum sure seems to be a lot more whiny and belligerent than my simple comment was. Your lecturing over my supposed tantrum was rendered ineffectual by your total absence of tact. It's like you're screaming "don't kill" as you wave a knife around. Fact of the matter is that this album, the one that preceded it, and the one directly following it are three of the most significant Metal albums ever recorded. If you can't objectively discern between what's quality and what's crud then maybe you shouldn't even be listening to Metal. You could take up baking or knitting, ya know. These hobbies would do wonders for your nerves too. Now go off and touch yourself why don't ya.

I find it hard to see why people would rate this low. I find too many people on here rate on personal feeling rather than cultural, social and musical influence, coupled with of course musical enjoyment, instrumentation etc. In terms of those, Metallica's early albums are extremely important, regardless of "musical credibility."
