Sat 2 is the most straight forward hip hop album in the trilogy

that being said it also has one of the most detested bh songs of all time

yeah that song is bad.

tbh I have just selected my favorite 12-13 songs of the 3 LPs and made a master LP out of them. Because there are a bunch of filler/bad songs on all of these albums.

1. Heat

2. Gold

3. Star

4. Bank

5. Gummy

6. Queer

7. Swamp

8. Sweet

9. Junky

10. Boogie

11. Johnny

12. Bleach

13. Rental

At least a 4.5/5

yeah they're ironically better at conveying a wide range of emotions on their bangers than they are in their soft songs as a general rule of thumb

plus their bangers... yakno... fuckin bang

there's obviously exceptions but their softer songs are often pretty lame. Bearface's stuff in general is like some uninspired mediocre indie rock

Also GAMBA is odd and offputting but SUNNY is actively grating, imagine not skipping that shit

If it wasn't for those two and QUEER, Sat 2 would be a 4.5 too for me

SUNNY and QUEER are both good but im obviously more appreciative of bearface than most people here. Quiver and Summer are fantastic

Never realized how terrible Kevin's teeth are. Song is dope as fuck tho. (Matt and Joba are killing it, Kevin is just the god of hooks)

Bear face is essential to the boyband aesthetic that they got going for them

Song is smooth as hell. Kevin could write great hooks in his sleep. And I love how they’re fitting Bearface in on this. His vocal melody is gorgeous and probably the highlight of the track besides the last hook. And yeah Outkast vibes for sure.

1999 Wildfire feels like a song that could easily be jammed on some more mainstream stations. Like other ppl said, reminds me a lot of Outkast. Kevin is becoming the next Andre 3000 with these hooks.

They should definitely fine-tune those Stankonia vibes. I've been missing those kind of vibes from music for a while now.
