I can't get into LCD Soundsystem either but I keep trying. All Your Friends is a pretty good song I remember.
The second half of this would be solid if so much of it wasn't so repetitive and thin with ideas. Still it's listenable and has some enjoyable parts.

also, fun isn't what you want from AF? they've always been a fun band, imo. and have always had very salient dance / disco underpinnings. if you cry or think to arcade fire I question the legitimacy of your life's sufferings

Their music was occasionally danceable before Reflektor but not in a way that was "fun" or that resembled "dance music" or disco, per se.

This has fun grooves, sure.
But Will's vocal delivery is absolute crap. So uninspired. So lazy. Sounds almost like a bad Beck impression sometimes.
Let's not talk about Régine. Idk wtf she was on during the recording of this.
The worst for me is the repetitive nature. It's just sooooo annoying.
