Yes, he has been doing some really nice podcasts on YT, each one is like an hour long, he talks about each album, how it was recording it, etc. He also really opens up in them talking about his depression and drug use and how bad things got for him at some points. Pretty interesting if you're a fan of the band or his solo work.

he has a hilarious/sad story where he talks about suffering from depression and it causing fatigue to the point where he'd have to pull over in his car and sleep, and a song came on the radio talking about how great a gift life is or whatever, and he got angry at the song. Haha.

I just listened to the podcast for Infinity and yeah pretty much. He was pretty mentally unstable during that period because he tried mushrooms and for some reason thought all the profound revelations he was having through that were specific to him, and made everyone hate him.

@razor That was during Alien, he only got diagnosed as bipolar in the aftermath of Infinity though he now thinks it was just the drugs that made him act in that way as he doesn't take medication any longer
