Come on, you know why.

Because LP is the band that made our teenage years more bearable and plenty of people are still following them because of that.

To see them release this bland piece of shit after THP and ATS (which, I guess, you can argue had plenty of pop appeal on the songs like Burning in the Skies or Waiting for the End, while still sounding fresh and well, like Linkin Park being inspired and experimenting with their sound) is heartbreaking.

Meteora is the last one i have nostalgia for, i grew out of LP after that one. but even looking back on them now, Hybrid Theory and Meteora are still pretty cringeworthy, and yet Minutes to Midnight is noticeably worse. i think theyve been total trash for a long time and it seems people should expect this by now.

I never understand people claiming that LP is shit.

I'll be honest, I've listened to HT and Meteora so damn much throughout last ten years (with a lot of time in between, of course, but you get my point) that I'm unable to judge the quality of most songs unbiased. Are those records good or are they bad? I THINK that they are good, but I won't be able to tell if they are better or worse than most of LP's post-Meteora offerings (OF COURSE they are better than One More Light).

I GENUINELY think that MTM and Living Things containg some awesome tracks (even if they are inconsistent and consist of half radio-friendly stuff, half weird experiments which I love) and are ok records.

THP and ATS are amazing.

Not 'making music history like Queen or The Doors' amazing, but amazing nonetheless.

Like I am obviously a LP apologist and a fangirl (though not a blind one), but I will never understand people saying that the band has always been terrible.



Sidenote - I obviously pos'd this review.

The only thing that could save this turd is album remix by the talented people from Linkin Park Association, but I'm not sure if they will be willing to touch this piece of shit.
