I never called casualties a miscalculation. I meant money that went to gaza years before. Bibi allowed millions of dollars in external funding (specifically from Qatar) to flow into Gaza with nefarious intention, I agree with that. I'm not on his side. Israeli leadership said the cash and work permits was a humanitarian necessity to stabilize their economy... prevent a severe crisis, and keep Hamas deterred or manageable. wrong or right. nuance
