For all I know maybe all the 8 studio albums they recorded while Bonzo lived had some ripped-off material. But I don't give a flying fuck.

And I guess most Sputnikers don't either.

most accesible work.

Led Zeppelin did take a lot from other bands on their first few albums, but let's be honest here, blues isn't exactly the most varied genre out there. Not to discredit the genre and the greatness that has come out of it, but as fallenbird said, there are only so many note sequences in a scale, and with blues those are limited even moreso.

But what I've noticed about critics of LZ (and plenty others) is that these songs will sound similar to another song from years past, but it'll just be some random song that some I doubt the musicians who "stole" it even heard. If I made a song and someone told me that I stole it from some artist I have never even heard, would that still be stealing?

Now, I could be wrong with that previous statement, but unless LZ were absolute geniuses in ripping off other obscure blues artists, the fact of the matter is that the album (and their discography in general) practically invented the heavy metal genre (along with Sabbath and others, of course), and changing the face of music is impressive, whether you like it or not.

Houses is awesome. I feel like all Zep is accessible except III and ITTOD, so any of the other 6 would work.

Houses, then IV and II (in the order you like), then this and I (in the order you like), and then PG is the order I suggest.

The last 2 are tough cookies imo, and opinions are split there.

I'm excluding the poshumous release known commonly as Coda.

I don't know why people are so split on Presence. To me it's just 7 wonderful songs that are up to Zep standards.

Presence is fine but I think we can all agree that ITTOD is their worst (outside of Coda) and you could probably go without listening to it.
