I mean I like these guys too which is an unpopular opinion on the internet aha, but for me that one section is so annoying because it's when I headbang the hardest and then I just stop mid-note and it fucks with me in a bad way

Those are exactly my main qualms as well but it makes it absolutely unlistenable for me

lol

No that song goes hard, yeah

They just need to stop killing the flow of their own songs - experimentation is awesome but like...don't fuck with your own flow

I understand and tend to agree at times

Dudes are cool and there's bands trying to sound like them though

Bleeding in the blur is one of the only cohesive tracks on this that isn’t ruined by the worst transitions (or lack thereof) I’ve ever heard

I actually love bleeding in the blur and the band would immediately be much better if Reba handled the majority of the vocals. She’s a fucking amazing vocalist imo

I actually enjoy the contrast of the band...the only critique I agree that can be a big warn off are those unnecessarily glitchy abrubt transitions

What do you think the band convo where Jamie started doing lead vocals went like? "REBA YOU'RE NOT TOUGH ENOUGH! YOU BEING A GIRL LEAD SINGER IS A GIMMICK, BUT BEING TOUGH ISNT! TOUGH IS A LIFESTYLE."

Ad verbatim that’s definitely how that conversation went.

It’s kinda sad imo, if Reba found a more interesting band to do vocals for I would absolutely listen to it. She really is an excellent harsh vocalist and Bleeding in the Blur proves she has a decent singing voice too.

Dude, listen to Adventures. It's basically everyone from Code Orange Kids but in an indie pop/emo band. Reba sings all up and down it and it's pretty fun.

I like this more than I Am King I think. Still not a fan of "let's make the heaviest hardcore possible" mentality

It’d be fine if they dropped the whole industrial tough guy schtick and laid down some decent riffs. But I guess that’s their entire identity now...
